Here i would like to discuss about some effective natural home made winter care recipes for your skin.

• Add a tablespoon of olive oil to your bath. It will prevent your skin from drying. olive oil will help to nourish your skin and leaves the skin fresh and soft.

• Only use warm water during winter season.

• Egg yolk mixed with a teaspoon of honey makes the skin soft and prevents the skin from drying.You can also add a few drops of Olive oil also to this mixture.

• Avocado makes for a wonderful face mask to prevent the dryness and irritation during the cold winters. For dry skin just take out the flesh, mash it finely and add about 1tbsp. of virgin olive oil, and apply to your face and neck.wash with warm water after 30mins.Avocado is a deep moisturizer.Also you can add honey instead of olive oil.

• Cultured milk such as yogurt, buttermilk and sour cream make for the perfect face mask it will help to retain freshness to your tired looking skin Milk also helps in restoring pH balance of your skin. Lightly rub it onto your skin and let it stay there for about fifteen minutes wash it with cold water.

• To tighten up skin pores and to cure oily skin problems, take some well beaten egg white and spread it over your face. Give it about 30 minutes time and then rinse off with water. This mask also makes for a good choice to protect your skin from the dry winter breeze and frostbites.

• While most medical professionals recommend you to use oatmeal in your diet to prevent heart diseases, we have a recipe using oatmeal to refresh and heal your winter beaten skin. Use your blender to make a fine paste of raw oatmeal flakes, a teaspoon of honey and one egg yolk. Leave it on your skin for twenty minutes and then wash off with warm water.

• Mix some mashed banana with a little bit of fresh cream and spread it over your face. wash it off after about half an hour.Banana has a softening effect on your skin, so you will be pleased to see your skin smooth, soft and nourished.

  • 1/4 cup of honey
Mash together the 2 ingredients above for an easy face mask. Honey and avocado are particularly rich in moisturizing properties. Apply to your face and leave for 5 minutes.

Yogurt Face Mask

The following Yogurt face mask is suitable for all skin types, especially dry or sunburnt skin. You will need:
1 tbsp of natural yogurt, left to reach room temperature
1 tsp of runny honey

Combine ingredients together, then apply to face, covering the neck but avoiding the delicate eye area. Relax for 15 minutes, then wash off using a hot washcloth, ideally muslin cloth. If the skin is extra dry, another teaspoon of honey can be added. This mask can be adapted for oily skin by adding a few drops of lime juice.

Banana Face Mask

This mask is ideal for oily or greasy skin as it is soothing, oil absorbing and great if you want to get rid of some bananas. You will need: 1 ripe banana, 1 tsp of honey and a few drops of citrus juice such as orange, lime or lemon.Mix the ingredients together and cover the face and neck with the mask. Relax for fifteen minutes and rinse with a hot washcloth.

Homemade Face Mask For Aging skin

Aging or mature skin is often thought of as dry but it actually needs more exfoliation to remove the build up of dead skin cells. A natural exfoliator is sugar particularly brown sugar.You will need 2 tbsp of brown sugar and 3 tbsp of warm water. Mix together so that the sugar dissolves completely. Massage onto the skin in gentle circular motions to lift dead skin cells. Rinse with a hot washcloth.
