I do my waxing at home. Once in a while only i get it done in saloon. l have been practicing it at home for long time.Used to get the Sleek Hot wax from India. Hot wax is less painful compared to the cold one. It softens the skin and hair. I do use the hair removing cream once in a while if i am in a hurry. Personally i don't prefer it.

  • First wash the area to be waxed with soap.
  • Pat it dry with a clean towel.
  • Apply talcum powder.
  • Test the temperature of the wax before you apply on the skin.
  • Then apply a thin layer of warm wax using a spatula to the preferred area in the same direction of hair growth.
  • Now cover the area with a waxing strip and press the area with hand.
  • Tighten the surrounding with one hand and pull the strip with other hand.
  • Always pull the strip on the opposite direction of the hair growth.
  • Follow the same procedure for the rest of the area.
  • Wash the waxed area, remove the wax throughly form skin.
  • Pat dry and apply an antiseptic moisturizing cream.
You can prepare your own wax at home.
